1. Introduction
This Policy lists everything Heartvale stores in your browser, on the website heartvalefarm.com and in the game at play.heartvalefarm.com, and explains what is added only if you agree. It applies to cookies and to similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, as required by Article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI, Law 34/2002), the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.

3. What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to keep so that something can be remembered between one page and the next. Local storage is a similar place in your browser where a site can keep larger pieces of data, such as a game save; it is not sent to the server with every request. Both can be cleared in your browser settings.
4. What the game stores (play.heartvalefarm.com)
Everything below is strictly necessary for the game to work. None of it is used for advertising or cross‑site tracking, and no consent is required for it.
| Name | Set by | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3dfarm.save.v1 | Heartvale | Your farm save, so that the game can continue where you left it, and a local copy of the cloud save | Until you clear browser data |
| 3dfarm.save.v1.guest, 3dfarm.save.v1.broken, 3dfarm.save.manual-backup | Heartvale | Backup copies of a save: the farm you played before signing in, a save that could not be read, a manual backup | Until you clear browser data |
| 3dfarm.cloud.synced.v1 | Heartvale | The version of the save last sent to the server, so that two devices never overwrite each other silently | Until you clear browser data |
| 3dfarm.account.email | Heartvale | The email address you last signed in with, so that you do not have to type it again | Until you clear browser data |
| 3dfarm.audio.settings, 3dfarm.sound.pick.v1 | Heartvale | Music and sound volume, mute, and which track was playing | Until you clear browser data |
| 3dfarm.profile.since | Heartvale | The date your profile was first created on this device ("member since") | Until you clear browser data |
| sb-…-auth-token | Supabase (sign‑in provider) | Your sign‑in session, so that you stay signed in between visits | Until you sign out or clear browser data |
| heartvale_consent | Heartvale | Remembers whether you accepted analytics. It is set for the whole of heartvalefarm.com, so that the website and the game ask you once and not twice | Twelve months |
| heartvale.consent.v1 | Heartvale | A copy of the same choice in local storage, used where the cookie above is unavailable | Twelve months |
Only if you accept analytics in the notice shown when the game opens, the game adds Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), which sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by the measurement ID, both lasting two years, to count visits, tell a returning visitor from a new one, and record whether the farm finished loading. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all. Google explains its use of this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
The game sets no advertising or social‑media cookies.
5. What the website stores (heartvalefarm.com)
| Name | Set by | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| __dpl | Lovable, the platform hosting the website | Keeps a visit on one deployment of the site. Carries no information about you | One day |
| session-id | Lovable | Tells one browsing session apart from another while a tab is open. We do not read it | Ends when the tab closes |
| heartvale_consent | Heartvale | Remembers whether you accepted analytics. It is set for the whole of heartvalefarm.com, so that the website and the game ask you once and not twice | Twelve months |
| heartvale.consent.v1 | Heartvale | A copy of the same choice in local storage | Twelve months |
| heartvale.music.v1 | Heartvale | Remembers whether you switched the background music on and how far it had got (local storage) | Until you clear browser data |
Only if you accept analytics in the cookie notice, the website adds Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), which sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by the measurement ID, both lasting two years, to count visits and tell a returning visitor from a new one. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all. Google explains its use of this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Targeting and advertising cookies
Not used, on the website or in the game.
7. Managing your choice
On the website, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to bring the choice back and set it again. In the game the same notice appears the first time you open it; because the choice is kept for the whole of heartvalefarm.com, accepting or declining in one place settles both, and changing it in the website footer changes it for the game as well. Your browser's own settings can clear cookies and stored data for any site; note that clearing the game's local storage removes the local copy of your save (the cloud copy remains if you are signed in) and signs you out.
Browser help pages: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
8. Cookies and personal data
Where cookies or local storage contain personal data (for example your email address or a sign‑in session), that data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this Policy
This table is reviewed whenever we change what the Platform stores. The current version is always at play.heartvalefarm.com/legal/cookies.html.
